I only cleaned up a bit what nature did and "killed" the large branch facing forward and left. taking it easy on this one

This may be the nicest piece of bougainvillea material I've seen on this site. Just compacting the crown on the right and removing everything that obscures that wonderfully expressive trunk should leave you with a world class tree. Very impressive.

Yes, its a Y shape branch that holds the main trunk. The way the trunk is laying on it, like a snake on a tree, is crazy...

@Shay... I don't know if you've run across this video yet, but I really like the ones that he has produced. It is longish, but there is a lot of good information in it.
