This one, I suspect is an apricot. Again completely grown through the bottom of its pot, but with a very healthy root system and huge top growth. I needed to take a lot of the extension growth off to get it in the car (every time I went round a left hand corner, the dam thing kept poking me in the ribs), but did nothing so far in terms of any pruning for shape. In the three weeks since getting it back home it's started budding back all over so looks like a successful rescue. I'll leave it alone this year whilst I think about its future.

I didn’t understand the rib poking at first…thinking that the left side (well mine anyway) is right next to the car door. How could the tree poke there. Then I saw and remembered your steering wheel is on the right side of the car leaving the left side open for a poking. Got it. Some days I can be slow.
