I have a sentimental attachment to Rhodohypoxis : the ones I had were sent to me by the late Arihato. I kept them for a couple of years, multiplied them, gave some to friends, but last year, bad winter protection, they didn't show up. So this year, I ordered some online, red ones, pink ones (like those Arihato had sent me) and a white one.

I received some of these for free when I bought a tree. I haven't seen them bloom yet. I'm glad you could find some.

I planted these ones in a pot last year, this year they have doubled in numbers.

That's what they do when in the right soil. When in the right soil, the flowering season is very long, so to me, it's a must.

The ideal flower to share with friends.
