I came across this cool photo today browsing FaceBook. That's some nice movement & ramification.

"Actually this is an aerial photo of a river flowing through a desert in Baja California, Mexico. Notice the similarity between this and actual tree branches. Branching like this occurs in many different places in nature, blood vessels being another place where the branching pattern occurs. Patterns in nature are relationships occurring for both structural form and process. When natural processes find patterns that work well, the patterns seem to mimic each other."
