Here is another of my RMJ yamadori. I've had this one around 5 years. My initial styling was focused on using the current back as the front. I think that the deadwood and branching were highlighted better from that side, but the life line wasn't visible until just before the canopy. This past june I decided to restyle the tree with the back becomming the new front. I am still working on cleaning up the deadwood and refining the lifeline (it starts on the right side of the trunk at soil level and runs along the bottom of the shari to the canopy- hard to see, I know). This tree has proven to like the weather here in GA, so far. It has alot of new growth which will be pruned/wired next spring. I've included a pic of a possible future pot- a used yamaaki. Thanks,
