I've been posting for a while in another thread about a sick shimpaku (dying tips) and I believe that the problem might in fact be root knot nematodes. When I repotted this I noticed a bunch of woody little knots incorporated into the root system. I spoke with an expert on shimpaku in my area and he thinks that it's nematodes. What luck
