I had the chance to save this rosemary that was going to be chucked from a garden bed. I have no experience with rosemary as a bonsai, but as a herb I've found them to be very resilient. I don't know if it will back bud in the barky mid to lower area 🤞🤞

Some people seem to get awesome back budding when the tree is strong and they hack it back taking most of not all the foliage off. Would anyone suggest this?

Any general design suggestions? Most of these branches seem very immobile..

Do you have a picture? I have not had much luck with rosemarry repotting. They seem pretty finicky.
