This is post defoliation. I let it grow all summer hence the long push of growth.
Do you think the rotted off nebari adds character or is it cheesy? I could probably break off all the dried up dead trunk.
I was also thinking of getting a better fitting rock. What do you think?
I guess a natural environmental occurrence that would replicate the look would be a flash flood in South America ripping out half the roots.
