Hi,this is a fukien tea which was recently placed from a 4"pot to this oval i had laying around, the tree has not had any wiring done yet,im probably going to do some when i finally style the tree,it has a unusual rough or corky bark, the tree has a inch and a half base, nice taper, and flowers profusely.Any ideas would be appreciated,i should have waited till later in the summer to repot, but its been growing vigorously since the repot,so i guess i got lucky.

Ok...it's not good Bonsai material...that should make you happy LOL!

I like it anyway. And, the bark will get nice and rough as it grows too. My one big one developed very quickly, I allowed a few long sports to develop on each foliage pad i wanted then loosely wired them and bent them into the shape I wanted in the end. Once they took a set I had the beginnings of the foliage pad and allowed ramification to take over. They have grown in very well and you can't tell that I cheated on it.

With the movement I can see a windswept style hiding in there trying to get out:cool:
