I am trying to find a safe fungicide to use on my Trident Maple, particularly one I can get in the U.S. I understand that soap and soap based fungicides are not safe for Trident Maples. I know of someone in the UK that uses "Bio Cheshunt Compound" with success but I cannot find this in the U.S. I am looking for something comparable. The "Bio Cheshunt Compound's" main ingredients are Copper Sulphate and Ammonium Carbonate.

Any suggestions for a "safe" fungicide would be greatly appreciated.

F.Y.I. - I usually use copper soap to treat fungus related problems on all my bonsais except for Chinese Elms and Brazilian Raintrees as it causes leaf shedding, total leaf shedding in the case with a Brazilian Raintree. You will never guess how I know this :(

If you prefer a copper-based fungicide, Phyton 27 is available in the US.
The other agent we use frequently is ZeroTol. It is not copper-based, but we use it widely and have found it to be reliably safe on anything we have tried.
Hope that helps,
Chris
