Just came in today. I think it could make an interesting accent plant, or perhaps even bonsai. I really like the gnarly, twisted growth habit and, as it is a tundra(!) plant, it won't be needing winter protection ever. Pictures tomorrow (the ones I took did not save).

Lovely. I have two Boyd's willows (Salix boydii) that I inherited from a collector who had to move to NYC and I am hoping that they survive the current extreme cold. The architecture is remarkable.

Where did you get your trees?

Nice tree with potential- willow is also very easy to root cuttings so plant any shoots you prune off and you will soon have a mini forest!
