Pretty interesting seeing a Walter Pall tree on a bag of Japanese soil. They have so many great Japanese trees to choose from any they put that one.

Good eye! And even a Rocky Mountain Juniper. European artist and US tree must be their export bag for us westerners. I wonder what the domestic product looks like?

I hadn’t even noticed the image. But now that you guys mentioned it, I’m remembering reading that blog post of his.

Not sure if you are still in San Diego area. But there is a Safari Park up in the hills with a nice bonsai display.
