First post here. I visited the Como Zoo inPXL_20231023_021709825.jpg Minneapolis this summer and saw their bonsai collection. I was instantly amazed and so I went on Amazon and bought a "bonsai seed kit". 🤦
I have learned a lot since then and won't be buying any more kits but it has been fun to learn about this stage of trees with my kids. Out of all the seeds I've planted only the Saphora Japonica have grown and I have several.
I'm keeping them under a grow light inside right now but realize they should be outside. They should be ok here in zone 4 but obviously aren't ready to be outside because of when I planted them.
Should I keep them inside all winter or transfer them to my uninsulated garage for dormancy?
Thanks so much in advance!

I'm guessing the best thing would be to overwinter them in the garage but is there a good way to transition them from my warm house under a grow light to my garage that only has 1 window?
