I’ve had these little guys since 4/22/2021 — they’d been nibbled en route, so I clipped off the affected leaves/branches before potting them — I haven’t quite believed they could live to be a forest, before today — but here they are, all happy in the indirect light of a bright overcast. So let’s go for it…

A handful of links for the curious...

(Haven't done business with the nurseries, but info & pictures are interesting/encouraging.)

AND because I discovered this one backbudding like a champ today...

Overdue for an update...
Since 5/21, have them on weekly 1/2-strength Bonide 10-10-10 -- all have put on new growth, but this one's outstanding!

& Have them in bright shade, where they're happiest for now.

Cool.
I’m imagining a little hammock grove with a tiki hut.
Well, dang! 🤔

I hadn't even thought past "If they live, I'll need to figure out a pot for them," but of course you're right -- n
ot sure what scale to use, but it will be fun to break out the clay & build a few options.

Have to hit the library for the book of Guy LaBree's paintings...
And also look at early photos of small Key West houses...

THANK YOU!!! 😀
