Sapling ID Request (2)

I would like to request the ID of two saplings. I believe them to be an alnus and either ulmus or zelkova. What do you all think?

This first I believe is alnus that came out of a 15 gal cercis pot from the grower in Oregon. I’m in southern CA. The second set of pics I believe to be ulmus or zelkova from the my yard.

Silver Birch for the big one???

sweet chestnut for the littler one?

The first one looks like Either a Birch or mulberry (questionable) The second one is Schinus terebinthifolia aka Brazilian Pepper

The one I was unsure of is all leafed out now....ideas. Beech, alder, birch....
