Just realized that I missed responding to your post. Sorry about that! Here is a pic of the azalea I picked up today. Also, did/do you have an Azalea?

Pic of new azalea posted below! It will be 34 degrees outside tonight. Should I keep my azalea in the garage tonight, keep it indoors, or will it be ok outside for the night? It looks like the temps will have a low of mid 30s at night here and there over the next week or so. The high over the next few days will average low 50s. Thanks!

Brussels keep the azalea in the Cold house, no heat. I would think garage out of wind would be fine, but one night inside should not hurt. But it needs to be outside.

LOL!! ? Here you go! I asked one of the gentleman that worked there to help me pick it out. Hopefully he did well in his choice! ?

lots of good choices there to make a tree.

Satsuki usually won't bloom until May-June, though some early varieties will start in April. It will be a waiting game watching those buds continue to swell and grow. Enjoy. Let it bloom this year. Enjoy the flowers, begin ''bonsai work'' after it is done blooming. After blooming, give it a dose of fertilizer, let it rest 2 or 3 weeks, (meaning don't do any Bonsai techniques, just water and sun). Then start to work pruning and wiring. Or repot.
