Hello everyone I am new to the forum and art. I recently acquired some Satsuki Azaleas labeled as Rukizon. I assume they are a member of a larger group? Anybody familiar with this type? I haven't been able to find specific info online about this variety and would like to learn as much about it and possibly find some photos of more mature plants. The website from the nursery where I purchased it said I can expect salmon-orange flowers and that its a Rukizon Satsuki. Thank you so much for your participation, I really appreciate what a resource this forum is.

I have been told it is the same as 'Kazan', the compact reddish pink-flowering variety that is a dwarf sport of 'Osakazuki'. Robert Callaham states the same in his book.
So says the IRRC. But for some reason some sources claim it is a sport of 'Taihei'.
