Save grandpa's pines! :)

My last Yahoo! Auction Japan post of the night, I swear! I saved this one for the grand finale!

Here are two black pines being sold by a guy's grandson. Apparently grandpa is 90 years old and can't care for them any more. Makes me feel almost sad that these trees don't end up going to a bonsai club somewhere (at least not directly). I wonder if these would fit in carry-on?

First one is currently going for $130. Supposedly the pot alone cost $320. Love the nebari!

Pine #2 currently going for $95. I think I've bought christmas trees that cost more

These pines look really sad, it's obvious they need feeding badly. Chlorosis at the very least. Still, the chance to try to save trees like this, I'd pay twice that or more.
