hey everyone!
long time lurker first time poster. can anyone help me identify these weird white spots on this juniper? they look like flakey white circles with a small black dot in the middle. as you can see from the pic they are very small. almost impossible to take a picture of.
they seem to be sticking mostly to the needle-like juvenile foliage on this juniper. not so much on the mature foliage. last time i examined this tree closely, it was about a month ago and it was fine. now it seems to be infested with whatever these things are.
Also, I don't see any crawlers...could this be a type of fungus?
