No time for people that make idiotic statements as in sending one of the people with most experience with pines to go watch videos, and sending someone to see a demonstration to open minds.

I'd try to graft a branch just a little farther than the red line showing where you intent to cut the branch, with the graft pointing to the photographer and upward.
Approach grafting is very easy on pines.

Before those statements, there were questions, I believe the statements were merely to back up, "why the question?". Like, "here's what I believe, so here is what I ask."

Besides, if we just walk around cupping the balls of our heros, we can't work on our trees, or otherwise grow.
