Great tree. How do scots pine do long term in an Australian climate (you seem to have a bunch of them)? They like it hot and dry, right?

Yes I have a few. They seem to be very easy to grow and can handle both wet and dry and hot and cold conditions equally well.

It’s properly hard to believe that they can thrive in both northern Scandinavia and Australia, but it seems to be the case. I thought the section of the Wikipage on scots pines in the British Isles was very interesting too, fascinating story that species has: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scots_pine
