So i apologize for the lack of photos but this weekend Matt Reel was at my club show and he did a demo on saturday with a collected California Juniper. That one of my club members ended up winning. (IF ANY ONE GOT PIC OF THE SHOW OR OF THIS WEEKEND PLS SHARE) Sunday I got the chance to work on this little tosho. Lookinh foward to the future and it was truly an honor to work with Matt super humble. Sorry again for the lack of pics.

Matt's a great guy, and really knows his stuff! You're very luck to be able to work with him!

I know Adair I was beyond exicted.
If there's any way possible, you ought to try to meet with him several times in a year, during different seasons. That way you'll learn how to do the right things at the right time of year. Very important to know what to do when!

I talked to him about that actually. Lol. I would like to continue to learn. Hopefully I can continue to work with him when he comes down or i might have to go up north.

So it’s been about a year since the last time I posted about this tree. I have fed this tree heavily and with some love and care it has grown a lot. I worked with Jonas Dupich trimming this tree. We trimmed some of the weak branches and to let oxygen in some of the dense areas. Overall it is starting to look like a tree. I will repot this tree next spring.
