I am selling a lot go my bonsai collection. The trees are in various states of development. My reason for selling is that I am looking to travel more and the hobby itself doesn't allow for much without making arrangement or possibly losing the trees. I would rather the ones I own with more immediate needs go to better homes. Pick up only in Chicago, IL. No shipping. I accept cash or venmo or Zelle and am asking for $1,500 for the bunch. They will all be sold in bulk. Below are the items for sale but I am open to additional offers on viewing.
  • Ponderosa Pine- Andy Smith collected with a surprise maple. It has decent nebari so I haven't removed it.
  • Ponderosa Pine- Andy Smith collected. Shohin sized.
  • Blue Atlas Cedar- Grafted. Might be dead since I repotted it to lower the graft so there is no value attributed to that one.
  • Maybe Kyo-Hime JM- I airlayered the graft off and its survived 2 seasons on its own roots.
  • 2 Miysama Trident Maples- In colanders.
  • Shimpaku Juniper- This is the most developed of the bunch and has great structure. It just needs refinement.
  • Arakawa JM- Looks like it might be grafted so it probably is. There is a big scar from dieback.
  • 7 pots. 3 are brand new and never used.
Thanks,
