I like blue rugs too, they have great foliage.
I do not care for "blue star" though...
My little blue rug lost a branch or 2 over winter....
Might just put mine in the ground for a few years.

I am surprised at how little foliage they can survive with!

My goal is for mini mini, or at least as mini as I can get them, and these are working so far!

I don't know if you saw the thread where Anthony and I were talking about "elevated earth stands".

A few stacked cinder blocks filled with earth....
I was thinking wood, for a bigger possible footing....

But it would be nice to keep it from rerooting, and it'll be at eye level, or at least not on the ground.

I saw this root before and thought it may be a problem....

But it turns out to be a.pretty .nice. Trunk .extension....

And all .the roots are sitting real close to getting this small potted soon.

LOL, i'm not one to talk. I use my iphone camera. but at least i stopped taking photos of trees on my stove!

In the ground they multiply! I got a bunch of extra plants from mine, they love stretching out and rooting all over the place. After that you can divide them up!
