I cultivate in Paris (France) squoiadendron giganteum to make bonsai. I began big works of pruning and training and I look for informations on budding defers and metsumi on the Sequoia

Thanks for your contributions.

Concerning the cabling, the appeal to the electric cord is compulsory on a sequoia. The thread of 6 mm aluminum in triple ligature is incapable to fold a branch.

Thank you for your technical reminder which I always practised.

I have just removed cables. The wished result is obtained.

On the other hand, I do not find answer on the net of the way Sequoiadendron reacts and re-comes out after a cutting ?

If somebody has information, I am interested.
