Hi guys! I just got a serissa from a garden centre yesterday. I got a few yellow leaves, which is normal from what I've read because it was just relocated. I used a toothpick to make sure the soil isn't too dry or too moist. Even got a humidifier next to it because my house isn't humid enough. However, I noticed on the tree bark there are these black dots which at first I thought was dirt, isn't dirt. It's just dark little holes. Is this normal? If not is there anyway I can help it heal?

Based on your expertise, do you think it could be caused by mites or fungus? Thank you in advance!

Mild or mildew developing on that dead section of trunk. A little diluted bleach on a cotton ball should get rid of it, but don’t go overboard.
