Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with this book. I own 'Bonsai with Japanese maple' by Peter Adams and was just wondering if these books differ from one another or if 'Bonsai with Japanese maple' is just a more comprehensive book made after " Shaping Maples, Successful Bonsai Techniques"? Thanks

If you have read the book you already own.... then you pretty much know all the deep dark secrets that anyone can teach you..... the rest you have to learn because they are all specific to your trees and your climate....

I'd suggest starting your own thread rather than replying to a 12 year old post if you'd like tips. If that was my tree (I don't do tropicals), I'd want it to be substantially thicker so I'd leave it alone for a few years, with lots of fertilizer and sunlight.
