I'm posting a current picture of my Pink Lady flowering quince. I have compiled a photo essay of it development from 2002 to the present. The impetus behind this essay was supplied by remarks made here and on other forums about what qualities a tree should have to make a bonsai.

The tree I began with, a Pink Lady flowering quince, was not an attractive choice. When I've posted pictures of this tree in the past, it has attracted a fair share of negative criticism, but also support. At this stage of the game, the Pink Lady isn't finished, but it is approaching maturity of concept and design.

Anyway, please check out my photo essay:

Choose the Shaping the Pink Lady option. This file is large (a little over 40 megabytes), but not as large as some of the pdf files I've posted in the past. It will take at least 10 minutes to download.

Please enjoy!
