Sharing another Yamadori Trip in Washington

Just sharing another yamadori trip. I was able to collect some Juniperus Communis. Which I hear does not adjust well but we'll see. Anyone else have success with it?

Hi Ben, I collected one last spring in the Mountains here. Had some needle loss after collection but not very much and in better health now than when collected. I have it in an Anderson flat now and it is doing well and I like the colors also.

Love the videos Ben . Am curious about the common juniper that was collected and how it’s doing ?
Also how’s the sun alpine fir as it had very little root system compared to the dual trunks ?
