Will alcohol do the trick, instead of bleach ?
Yes but alcohol is expensive. A gallon of bleach is $.99 at Walmart.

I'm not a fan of bleach odor. But I can try it. Another thing is, I ordered mancozeb, but still take a few days to deliver. Can I go ahead, trim those brown tips, and spray the tree with daconil for now ? I also have neem oil at hand.Yes but alcohol is expensive. A gallon of bleach is $.99 at Walmart.
I just keep a container of disinfectant wipes sitting beside my work table and wipe between each tree, as often as I remember to. Makes it easy and don't have to smell bleach the whole time or worry about spilling it on my clothes..Will alcohol do the trick, instead of bleach ?
@Bonsai Nut 3-5 teaspoons for gallon ? I just received the mancozeb by mail. Concentrate. Label does not say exactly how much I should dilute
I will keep that in mind. Last time I wiped my tools with alcohol. Maybe I need something stronger.I just keep a container of disinfectant wipes sitting beside my work table and wipe between each tree, as often as I remember to. Thanks ! Now, should I cover the soil area, or that don't really matter ?I go slightly stronger. I use 1/2 Tbl per quart, or 2 Tbl per gallon (6 tsp). It may be because I only have a tablespoon in my gardening area and no teaspoons for measuring

Yes they can be trimmed or pinched off or rubbed off. It would seem you have been panicked by the "if you pinch they will die" crowd, which is a lie with Shimpaku Junipers. How I can remove the foliage tips ? Can those brown tips be pinched without affecting the rest of it ?
