That is correct. Size of trees, placement of trees realitive to sizre and numbers in groups; it gets kind of complicated. It is interesting and not difficult to understand and worth the effort to look it up.

Also, the trees trunks need to be planted right on the vertical or else it won’t look like a forest. In real forests, trees growing at an angle (unless on the edge of a meadow) do not survive because any neighbor tree that is growing vertically will make it up to the forest canopy first and block out the light, killing off the competitors around it.
