Shimpaku Grafting Workshop, Sat. Feb 4th

Saturday, February 4th, 11:00am - 3:00pm at California Bonsai Studio, 4015 N Moorpark Rd. In Thousand Oaks, CA. Lunch included.

Learn insert grafting of Junipers with hands on instruction from Travis Goldstein. Workshop includes a prostrata or San Jose Juniper as understock, to which you will be grafting Shimpaku Juniper foliage. There will also be the option to purchase upgraded trunks/understock the day of the workshop.

Students are encouraged to bring their own tools. Grafting tools will be available for sale at a discount for participants that don’t already have them.

I'm going to give grafting a try this year and a little hands on training would go a long way.
As usual though I will just give it a go from everything I read.
