You could hit up @NewWorldBonsai he may have some for sale?, I bought 5 smaller very healthy Shimps from him several months ago.
I think he sells often on 99 cent bonsai, and Bonsai auctions on face book.

There are a lot of Shimpakus on both sites this week. The 99 cent site has some affordable but young ones. The other site has some better quality ones but they seem pricy to me.

Thanks for the shout out! I only have 4" kishu shimpaku starters left this season.

Check out @kingsville grower too, he grows a few different varieties. There are over a dozen different types of shimpaku (as far as I know) and someone in your area will know which ones are the best for your area.

Yes I definitely need to take a trip up there it’s on my list for sure.
You will not be disappointed. They even have a quarantine bunker like greenhouse
for imports to spend at least a year before sale IIRC.
You won't find a deal as good as this shimpaku I got there
but do make the trip. Is worth the money saved to join their club for a small amount
if they still offer that.
