I have a friend who moved to Japan a few months ago. She's desperately missing some British food and has asked me to send a care package of items not available over there. She's suggested we do a trade and she sends me something in return so I'm thinking of asking her to send some bonsai related goods. I was thinking a nice pot or 2 but I was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions of things I could ask her to send.

Send her a fabulous care package with no strings attached. One that you really thought about and especially include a few surprises in the box for her. She will enjoy it all...and talk all about you being a good friend. Just because she’s a friend. Someday, later, you might just need a tool...leave that unmentioned for some later time. The purpose now is to surprise her with a great package. Friendship is worth it.

Kit kats were top of the list after the post about them on the forum!

Pots I can pick, that won't be a problem. I like the idea of some decent tools. I'll look into it. I like Tieballs suggestion of not requesting anything back for now.

@M. Frary Just for you
