Those are cool vids, not overly sure how the pots would hold up over time.

The biggest thing with alternative kiln methods that I can tell is the pots still need bisque firing first and it would seem the best way to do so is in an electric kiln so really once you have yourself one of them then you should already be set.
I have watched a couple of vids from guys who bisque in a Raku kiln, with the state of our electrics at the moment that may be worth trying first.

@Starfox ,

you can also cast a kiln, the mixes are available in bags, just add water.
Then use a bunsen burner to fire.
As I make some time I will show you the mini gas firing kiln.
Good Day

* Look up solar firing [ from the 70's ] as well. It's on google, I saw the article back in
the 2000's.
You can fire with sunlight and a lens.

Once again you can design a clay body to mature at 750 deg,C and glaze with very
durable enamels.

Will supply more clay body and glaze information when you guys are ready to
fire.
