Have this chopped down rustic Pom to work on this year. Dead wood will have to be scaled back some and the branching will have to be built, but poms grow like weeds here so fullfilling a decent Pom should be pretty fast.

Trunk is 2.5 inches across at base and the tree is 8 inches tall.

As the design reaches muturity, I have this signature Youzan for it. Potters name is Mr. Shimizu Hideaki.

The glaze is crackled and the shape is very complimentary for the tree. The color of the pot with blooms or mature fruit should be killer.

That's a really nice pot! I can look at that thing all day long.
Your pome is in too coarse of a soil mix I think. It looks too loose to me from here. I think pomegranates grow so much faster in a more rich, organic and sandy mix.
