I was going to say to prune before you drink the beer. But Scott's a big guy. I doubt one would have much effect.

But after a six pack, he'd be grafting Ume on it!

Did you get one of Roy's pots? I was lucky enough to get his first double upside down glaze.

Nice! Looks like you're going to need Vaseline to get it out of that pot.
It's pretty small, but it's in there for the show. I'll put it in something slightly bigger after it's over.

Tight squeeze no doubt. I had to break the pot to get it out. But it's grown over the summer - goal was to reposition at a better angle and extend the key branch. Here was the planned new angle after moving the tree to a bigger pot.
