Made during 2 weeks of shelter-in-place. Made out of about 5 mm leather.
Very cool. A lot of stitching in that. Box stitching like that is hard, I only tried it once and it didn't turn out very well. Nice to see someone else that is into bonsai and leather work!! My winter hobby is leather work and bonsai keeps me busy the rest of the year.

OK... not a bag but a modular japanese-style toolbox, quickly put together from leftover plywood. It fits perfectly in the trunk of the miata. Depending on the needs of the day, it can hold a decent selection of alu wire and 2 tool cubbies, and a lazy suzan under the cubbies... or 4 cubbies if I need to bring beer and chips to the meeting.

Don't know if any one here have heard of the Carhartt brand, which are good quality made, but they also make roll up tool bags and are very reasonably priced and can be found in 3 or 4 different colors.

Just another alternative to consider when looking for a roll up tool pouch.

Phht! Amateurs...

IMG_20200806_201627.jpg

This is an orange plastic hard case that used to hold an Erector Set. It was purchased for $1 at Goodwill.

Had to trim out a couple of the plastic separators but my tools, such as they are, fit nicely.

Secret second layer hides more stuff.
