Here’s my setup. 16’ long with cantilever canopy and 50% fabric. Bench faces due east.

Simplest design as could be, but that benefits as I’m renting so it’s easy to tear down and move.

Well, not so easy to move, as my garden is a townhouse rooftop.
That view!💯
My wife and I joke that when we travel out to the PNW its all we can do to not cancel our return flights.

I’ll need to remember to post another pic on a clear day. Right about the tops of those clouds in the mid-ground is the peaks of the Olympics, and on a clear day they cut across the sky…or even better float amongst the clouds.

I will likely be trading my view for a proper yard this fall, but at least bonsai has helped me achieve my goal of getting up on my roof every single day.
