This schefflera has been limping toward death for a couple of weeks. I sprayed a fungicide about a week ago. Any diagnosis? Any suggestions?

Leaf wilt probably from too much water or not enough water. Pull it out of the pot and sniff the soil. Is the bottom layer sour, if so there is root damage. If it is bone dry then the plant is dehydrated. My guess would be the soil has soured out on you. Let the plant dry out between waterings. Tilt the pot to drain it all. Sorry

Thanks for the responses. It was repotted last Spring. The tree doesn't seem to be using as much water as when it was healthy, so I've cut back, but the soil still stays wet for long periods of time.

If it's not using water at a normal rate, that implies root problems. I second the earlier suggestion: pull it out and check for fungus or root parasites.
