Hey, I am new to planting anything, but i have managet to germinate some silk mimosa tree as well as black pine. My question is however, i got quite small pots (biodegradable ones) but i planted a few seeds in them, not knowing how much would survive. After like 2 weeks, i got like maybe 3cm highest plant of mimosa, while having like 4-5 plants in said small pot. but they are quite close to each other and i dont know if i can replant them, without damaging the seeds. How many of them should i keep in the small pot? .. Same question for the black pine, which is around the same height + another 2-3cm from the spikes. When should i replant them, and how many of them is too much in one small, pot. (for some refference look into the pics)

You can seperate them if you are careful. You might consider letting the mimosa grow as a clump and encourage some trunk fusion.

I've separated seedlings from those kind of starter pellets many times. My suggestion: take a pair of scissors and cut the fabric off first. Then place the pellet in a bowl of water and gently shake it while it is in the water. The peat will break up and you should be able to separate the seedling pretty cleanly. Sometimes, if you wait too long, the roots will tangle...but even then, if you can shake the peat off by using water, they slide apart reasonably.

I wish I had your problem. I plan to plant a few seeds together to attempt a trunk fusion.

You know what i did? I made a little hole and put like 6 seeds in there, cuz it was the very first one i've planted. Now I am trying to germinate wisteria, but i am afraid i've killed one of them (got 2 pots with 2 seeds per pot), cuz i put them too deep. and they are getting mushy as well as my flame tree seeds, but the other pot is looking good so far so we'll see
