Shohin almost always, at least the ones I've enjoyed so far, have a great first impression or impact when you get a good look at them. It is really neat to see a few inches packed full of character and history. Wish there was more around like it. Maybe you could share more about this particular tree if you don't mind.
 
I always heard these were better as larger bonsai, due to large internodes. This one seems to prove that statement at least partially false. Nice tree. Is there actually a "small leave" variety?
 
I tried to find the name could not .I think it is a cultivar of the L. orientalis. It does have natural small leaves.
