Started a very small...
very neglected...
B-Davi on it's way today...

I figured the way these things grow, I better start messing
around and actually do something with it...
If I am lucky, I might actually see it become something before
I pass on.

I gonna let the leader grow for some years to try thicken up
the top trunk of the tree.

Why not make a mame? Then you will use to the best advantage the small leaf. Have fun!

Great shape. Looks like a lot of potential. If your goal is to grow it out, Is there a reason that you're growing it in a fairly small pot?

The lowest right branch...esp the bulbous base of it doesn't fit my taste & actually worries me that it will get worse in time.

Personally, I like that branch, but I agree that it has a bulbous base, I'm wondering if it could be carved to fit more proportionally?

I am thinking the small branch above it can be easily developed to replace the removed branch.
