I'm good with it though. I just picked up a horstmann blue atlas to learn on and I'm just wondering if there are any good resources on how to work a cedar toward finish product from nursery stock without doing something stupid. I understand you really shouldn't cut low branches ever in the early stages due to unpredictable backbudding and that you can pull bottom needles from branches for the older tree look. I'm sure I'll be back with a more specific thread about my tree I'm just sitting here staring at my tree trying to come up with a plan to end up somewhere along the lines of these pictures. (got these from Google images I apologize if these are someone here's beautiful trees)
