Interesting plants and pots.

I really need to make more accent pots, I just never seem to get around to it

Tell me about that Lithops. Does is reproduce easily and are the flowers all the same color?

We'll have to see if Eric can jump back in with some answers on those Lithops. I just happened to be wandering through home depot and saw some succulents. I stopped to look at them and immediately knew they were perfect for this tiny (1 in. sq.) accent pot I had sitting around for a few months.

lithops grow in a weird way. they start shrivelng in spring where the new body emerge, and as soon as the old body is dried-up, watering cycle begins. water till compost is totally saturated and water again only when its totally dry. they flower in fall, with a small daisy like flower, about 3/4" diameter in yellow or white. after flowering, stop watering till the next spring. easy! lol. i grow them indoors all year round in a southern exposure windowsill.:D

hope that helps

Very nice accents. Do you use regular soil in these plantings or bonsai soil?
