I'll keep this one short.
I purchased these two shimpaku juniper in the winter of 2014 for 8 bucks a piece. I got them potted into showing pots in the spring of 2015 and just let them do their thing all year. This spring I reported again because the pots were FULL of roots. A couple weeks ago I finally decided to give these guys some direction.
The first is about 4 inches tall (10cm) and maybe 5 inches (12.5cm) wide with about a half inch trunk.20160626_071142.jpgbirds eye 20160626_071154.jpgAnd the second tree is about 5 inches (12.5cm) tall and 4 inches (10cm) wide with a half in trunk. Lol the two are opposite sizes!20160626_071959.jpgBoth trees will need an angle change come spring 2017. Also both trees have some long internodes because of my benine neglect last year, I'll definitely need to replace the current foliage with more compact stuff and do anot her wiring.
Neither is exactly where I want it but they need a break for the year.
Let me know what you think!

Aaron

P.S. I tried to make it short but that didn't happen lol
