I guess its time I shared again on this site...here are a few of my small trees just before putting them to bed for the winter.

Thanks,

That really has my wheels spinning ! If you live in the Northern zones and can manage to keep things small there is a lot of easy alternatives for winter. I will be keeping this in mind as Spring collection approaches and most likely will try for a lot of Saplings. :D

I agree and small trees can be a lot of fun! ...and way easier on the back:)

Beautiful shohin trees

Your trees are truly good and beautiful. I am prowling around for some really good shohin trees now and found a lot of ideas by watching the video. Thanks for posting.

I don't remember your having some of these at the NC Expo back in the fall. Would like to see your trees in person.

Thanks Ron! Yea...most of the plants I take to Asheville for the sales area are more material than bonsai...none of the trees in the video went:) I don't mind selling plants most of the time, but I just cant seem to part with nice containers...they are just too hard to come by..

You're welcome in my garden anytime:)

Thanks for the video, John. I've been subscribed to your youtube channel since late last year and love seeing all of your different trees. I think the first video of yours I ever watched was the one about trimming boxwood.

Hi John,

Thanks for sharing the video.

I enjoyed the tour of your small trees very much. I also appreciate the plug.

It's always nice to see how others match up a tree to a pot that I made.

Happy New Year.

Cheers,
Paul

John, Thanks for sharing. You certainly have lots of nice trees. I especially like the azalea at the 4:55 mark and would love to see more of it. Fabulous nebari.

Really nice! I would love to see more people do this! Thanks a bunch for showing those little beauties!
