I've been noticing my bloodgood maple leaves are being eaten. I have only found one small caterpillar on the tree about a week back and haven't seen much activity otherwise.

All my jap maples have things munching on them. Friggin wild kingdom in my yard. I spray every so often with insecticide but the damage is really pretty minimal so I don't worry too much.

Bayer 3 in 1.
No Japanese maples here but nothing eats my trees.
I found pine sawfly caterpillars on a collected jack pine this year.
I usually dont dose freshly collected trees but I did this one.
Them worms left and haven't been seen since and the tree is doing fine.
