It reminds me of 2 cue stick cases I made with contrasting woods, Af Mahogany and Red oak
which I have pics of and one was Black walnut and red oak I made for my friend.
How much (and I cannot do anything this year) would you charge for a 12-14 x 10 x 4.5 done like that one?

Good Question! It's extremely hard for me to say at this point. But I want to get that "style" better...that one to me, is, something that can be wicked sick!
I think all my favorite pots have a contrast between glaze and clay, dark on light or light on dark.
I slapped this new clay together fast and glazed the bonedry and threw it right in a glaze fire for a test, and to see the clay fired....
Love this blue on red.
So warm!
A couple other glaze tests on Scrapcent Planters...
And the first pot that Blew up from being a bit wet still...cracked off and glazed back on!
And one Went Home.

This was a table fountain pot. The plastic is very durable to sunlight.
Going to make one in clay and increase the clarity of the ornament in front,
but not the size. Another Nic project.
Anyhow the drainage is only through the feet.
They are circles and an ice pick was heated to make the holes.
The plant, Clerodendron [ m] loves the pot.
Hey, how about some mini or small pots for pines [ 6 year J,B,pine competition leftovers.]
