Nurseries have just begun to put out their stock.
FINALLY! Plants for sale! Menards is/was the first to put out plants/trees for sale.
Knowing this, I checked it out today and bought a procumbens nana.

raked out the roots.
Roots were decent. Trimmed them back, & sorted them out. Into a plastic pot. Took off a lot of the foliage
I don’t believe this tree will survive. I hope it does. Either way, the insatiable crave has been satisfied.

I see it as a spring sacrifice. I will baby it a bit though, to try and see it fights back.

I think you left plenty healthy foliage it should survive nicely with a good repoting after-care
